UNICEF EXECUTIVE BOARD COVERAGE

Serving as an internal consultant, Kristin reimagined coverage of UNICEF’s Executive Board, which comprises member states to the United Nations, by translating complex deliberations and policymaking into engaging features. For example, rather than simply reporting out funding updates, she penned “The future of aid,” a piece about the challenges of securing development funding amid a shifting donor landscape. Her efforts not only helped to raise awareness of such issues among new audiences, but also served to strengthen the relationship between the Division of Communication and the Office of the Executive Board.
